Being told you have diabetes is the perfect opportunity for you to become healthier and fitter than ever before.

Live a healthy and happy life

Having diabetes doesn’t mean you have to stop living your life the way you want to.

You will not automatically develop further health complications, and you can still achieve good health by making changes to your eating and physical activity habits.

Successfully manage your diabetes

Your diabetes team will play an important role in your diabetes, but it is you who can make the biggest impact on your health.

By controlling your diabetes successfully you might prevent further health problems, slow down the progression of diabetes and reduce the need for medication.

Learning to live with diabetes
